Checking Out Items
Texas State University students, faculty, and staff can check out items available at RRC Library.
- My Account/Renew - login using your NetID/password to see what you have checked out, due dates, and the option to renew if applicable.
- See the Borrowing Policy to find out about ID for checking out items, holding or recalling items, how long you can keep items and more...
- Have a library fine? Pay a library fine/remove a hold or appeal a library fine.
Requesting Items from Alkek Library, the Archives and Research Center (ARC) or the Music Library
Items in the library catalog that can be requested, have a blue Request/Hold button at the top right side of the catalog entry. When you click on that button, you will be requested to supply your NetID/password. Once you hit submit from that screen, you will land on a Request Verification screen that will prompt you to select a pickup location.
Return your checked out items to RRC Library, Alkek Library, the ARC, or Music Library. Exception: Alkek Library reserve items must be returned to the Alkek Reserves Desk. This service is available for students, faculty, and staff with active NetIDs to save time traveling between Round Rock and San Marcos campuses for library items.
Proxy Borrowers
Faculty can complete the Proxy Form to designate proxy borrowers such as student employees to be authorized to check out items for a semester. Items will be checked out to the faculty's account, not the proxy's.
