- Offer advice on database search techniques
- Provide personal consultations or instruction sessions
- Help you set up email alerts for journals or databases
Support for Publishing and Research
We offer consultation and collaborative services to help scholars use, create, and publish scholarship. We can:
- Help you assess the quality of a journal and your scholarly impact
- Help you collect research impact metrics for promotion and tenure dossiers and research awards
- Provide personal or group consultations on authors' rights and copyright
- Support the preparation of Data Management Plans to protect your research data and increase its integrity
Copyright Assistance
We support and educate the campus community on copyright and fair use practices in both teaching and research activities.Stephanie Towery, Copyright Officer, and Open Licensing Initiatives Librarian is available for help with questions regarding copyright issues. Note that any information from the Library is not legal advice, nor are we legal counsel to the university or any members of the university community.
Librarians & Specialists
Research Librarians & Specialists provide guidance and support to faculty who are conducting and disseminating research. We have experts in the areas of copyright, data management, citation management, and digital publishing who are available to assist you with your project in any stage.
Liaison Program
The purpose of the Liaison Program is to generate dialogue between the library and academic departments in order to enhance the library's understanding of user needs and to promote the library's services and resources.
