Our learning outcomes for University Seminar students revolve around the theme “a library of possibilities” achieved through identifying library resources, describing gaps in their knowledge, and recognizing a need for research. Both online tutorials and face-to-face tours are built around the themes of belonging, growth mindset, and lifelong learning. Students will hone self-advocacy skills by learning how to ask for library and research help and by identifying one library element to use during their first semester.
